Youth Baseball Coaches Clinic
Join The Spanaway Lake High School Baseball Program in a two day Youth Baseball Coaches Clinic that focuses on how to go about teaching many of the key fundamentals of the game to youngsters. Our clinic format is designed to help you, whether you are new to the sport or have coached for many years, enhance both your knowledge and teaching skills so you are better prepared to help guide every player on your team to a safe, fun and rewarding experience.
Our unique program is designed to enrich the learning experience and provide coaches with live-action instruction and demonstrations. It all starts with a 1.5 hour coaches only session from 6-7:30pm on Tuesday March 28th at Spanaway Lake High School, Then on the following Saturday, April 1st from 9am-1pm at Spanaway Lake High's baseball fields, we will integrate the Youth Baseball Coaches Clinic into our 2017 Youth Spring Training Camp. This second day will allow the participating Youth Baseball Coaches to practice the drills they learned on Tuesday with actual youth players, possibly many from their own teams. The Spanaway Lake Baseball Coaching Staff will provide key instructional guidance to help the Youth Coaches recognize proper and improper techniques. Our goal is that each Youth Baseball Coach will have some added tools to help them have more productive, effective and successful practices |
